CROSSROADS MORNING WORSHIP

This is currently the main Sunday service, starting at 9.30am. The aim is to be relaxed and a little more informal than in many church services. The service usually begins with a few notices, a prayer and a couple of songs; the song words appear on a screen and the accompanying music is usually downloaded. There will be a Bible reading and a talk from the person leading the gathering. As pandemic restrictions ease and people feel more comfortable being sociable, we will often discuss or respond to points and questions arising from the reading and talk. Prayers and more songs bring us to around 10.30 and the close of our gathering.
What we would like to emphasise is that no one is under any pressure to join in. If you don't want to sing, that's fine. If you don't want to join in a discussion, that's fine too. We are a mixed group of people. We are varying in age, views, background and life experiences and we want everyone who visits to feel comfortable and accepted because all are welcome here.
